Culture of Indonesia Should be Preserved
The culture of Indonesia have dozens of rich cultural heritage in art. Many people are amazed and want to claim Indonesian culture as the culture of their nation. That proves how interesting this culture in our country. very ironic. But here's the reality. We as a nation seemed indifferent generation successor to our own culture. We should preserve it. But why we do not care and ignore it? The younger generations are more interested in learning about foreign cultures, one contributing factor is the number of facilities that show an alien culture. In fact, in this era of globalization, there is a culture in Indonesia is not referring to the culture is a positive, but it refers to culture negative smells. Around us a lot of students who frequently drink - alcohol, smoking, and even fight. Thing negative that smelled like a main dish that does. And keep in mind that it has spread to the whole of Indonesia from a normal school to excellent school in the area.
Ladies and Gentlemen.
It should make the change towards a better nation. We need to make big changes so that we are not left behind by globalization, and the big change starts small changes. As the successor to the Indonesian fighters who have gone before us, we must continue the struggle. One way to preserve national culture.
My friends I'm proud.
We do not want the culture of Indonesia claimed again by another country, is not it? We also do not want our culture to be extinct. Because of it, then we as the younger generation is better if we realize that culture is an irreplaceable treasure. Culture can not be created with ease, especially with such a short time. It has been a lot of efforts to preserve the culture of Indonesia, but these efforts have not been maximum.
One of the legendary Indonesian culture is batik. Batik is one of cultural production that has worldwide and in recent times, batik began to receive attention from the younger generation. “Batik day” is a day in which all parties were invited to use the batik. This is especially good for the younger generation and cultural survival batik itself. Creativity batik will grow by itself with demand. Modern fashion styles and age-appropriate will make batik as a means of creativity for young designers. Make a spear batik fashion formal, semi-formal and informal. Devise an original batik fashion yet very trendy if worn by every level of generation.
Besides batik, there are also other fabrics that are not less beautiful fabrics such as songket, ulos fabric and so on. It is time we as a younger generation process their culture without losing its originality. Make batik as one of the fashion icons of cool and attractive to young people.
Besides batik, Indonesian culture is most often in the area of interest is dance. Indonesia no less exotic dance and graceful in comparison with other countries. Lots of foreign tourists coming to Indonesia just to see native dances Indonesia. Have you ever witnessed a cultural festival or welcome important guests who come to Indonesia. Of course, the art of music and dance that served incredible.
In my opinion, the art of dance in the area should be introduced so that students become contest is no less interesting with a cheerleading competition. Padukanlah dance area with modern dance, like one concept of dance in one of the most popular events in Indonesia. Remove the connotation that the dance area was not hanging out. Be creative and make the dance area native Indonesia as one of the subjects in the dances of interest.
Besides creativity, promotion factors also play a role. Indonesian Arts to promote their foreign ideas interesting and unique. Thus the Indonesian Arts gained international recognition and is not easy to duplicate. Never bored in the creative, cultural preserve Indonesia, quicken your identity as a nation of Indonesia.
My hope that the Indonesian people can be respected by people of other nations and changed from developing countries to developed countries, but not forgetting cultural values, ethics and customs that characterize Indonesia.
